The Philadelphia Phillies placed shortstop Trea Turner on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain, the team announced Saturday.
Turner said he expects to miss at least six weeks and a return before that "would be a win," according to The Athletic's Matt Gelb.
Turner was forced to leave Friday's game against San Francisco after scoring from second base on a passed ball by Giants catcher Tom Murphy.
Turner had two hits and his 10th stolen base before the injury, raising his average this season to .343 over 137 at-bats.
The Phillies recalled infielder Kody Clemens to take Turner's spot on the active roster.
