Report: Leicester City closes in on Chile's Charles Aranguiz
Leicester City are negotiating personal terms with Charles Aranguiz after their decision to pay a record transfer fee for the Chilean international.
Negotiations between the Premier League team and Aranguiz are ongoing as Leicester look set to pay a club record £10.5-million fee to Brazilian football club Internacional, according to Sky Sports.
The addition of Aranguiz would be a nice boost for Leicester's midfield with the departure of Esteban Cambiasso, who played an important role in securing the team's safety from relegation last season before deciding to leave.
Aranguiz, 26, has represented his country 40 times, most recently helping Chile win the 2015 Copa America on home soil.
Andrej Kramaric was the team's previous record signing when The Foxes paid £9 million earlier this summer to secure his services from Croatian football club Rijeka.
