Striker Fernando Llorente will play in the Premier League for the first time this season after joining Swansea City on Friday on a two-year contract.
The Welsh outfit declined to disclose the fee it agreed to pay to acquire the 31-year-old's services from Sevilla.
Llorente, who had two years remaining on his deal with the Andalusian club, was allowed to leave the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium following the arrivals of Franco Vazquez, Luciano Vietto, and Wissam Ben Yedder.

The 2010 World Cup winner Llorente will now give the Swans a strong reference point in attack.
Swansea had been searching for a striker to replace Bafetimbi Gomis, who made the switch to Marseille this summer on a season-long loan. Llorente possesses similar characteristics to Gomis as a traditional No. 9.
"I am very happy to join Swansea. I have scored goals in La Liga and Serie A, and now I want to score a lot of goals for the club in the Premier League," he said. "I want to score a lot of goals like (former Swansea striker) Michu. He is a very good player and he did very well here."
It's a welcome change of scenery for the Spaniard after a frustrating season with Sevilla. Llorente joined the three-time Europa League winner on a free transfer from Juventus in August 2015, but he couldn't crack the starting XI on a regular basis.
Real Sociedad had reportedly offered him a chance to stay in La Liga, but Swansea moved quickly over the past week to secure its man.
Llorente could make his first appearance in Saturday's friendly against Rennes. Swansea opens the Premier League campaign at Burnley on Aug. 13
