Brendan Rodgers leads sack race after another poor Liverpool showing
The boos rang around Anfield after Liverpool played out a flat 1-1 draw against newly promoted Norwich City.

The Merseyside outfit is now winless in over a month, when it unconvincingly beat fellow Premier League new boy Bournemouth 1-0 on home turf.
It appears that the patience often exercised by the Fenway Sports Group, who also own Major League Baseball franchise Boston Red Sox, could now be tested. Countless Liverpool fans voiced displeasure and gave their pessimistic predictions on social media after the match, clearly disenchanted with the prospect of a future under current boss Brendan Rodgers.
There are concerns throughout the Reds' lineup. Its expensively assembled midfield and attack has yielded just four goals in six games; defenders Martin Skrtel and Dejan Lovren are accident prone; Simon Mignolet's flap which gifted Norwich its goal Sunday was reminiscent of the Belgian shot-stopper's woeful form of yesteryear.
Sunderland's Dick Advocaat was previously a favourite for the next Premier League chop, with Steve McClaren of neighbouring Newcastle United in close quarters. Now top bookies in the United Kingdom, such as William Hill and Paddy Power, are tipping Rodgers to be the next manager to leave his post.
The Northern Irish gaffer also cemented his reputation as being deluded in his post-game comments to BBC Sport.
"It was important that we got some flow in our game and our intensity in the second half was much better."
Rodgers is sure to be under the microscope over Liverpool's next two matches against supposedly inferior opposition: visits of fourth-tier Carlisle United in the League Cup on Wednesday, and then Aston Villa three days later in the league.
