the country attended our bash and partied hard with their favourite athletes, musicians and Score
talent. From Kardinal Offishall to Jermaine O’Neal, sports fans and music fans got a true taste
of what The Score has to offer whether they were part of our live audience or watched our live

eligibility for the 1996 NBA Draft straight out of high school and was selected by the Portland

the Raptors and fans are hoping he is the missing ingredient to take the franchise to new heights.
-
CM Punk – WWE Heavyweight Champ
Luck is for losers, at least according to CM Punk. He believes you make your own good fortune through
hard work and intense preparation. Growing up in Chicago, the Raw Superstar’s childhood consisted
of watching the likes of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and Jimmy Snuka exchange words, then blows. Such heated
rivalries helped Punk realize that sports-entertainment was where he belonged. On the June 23 edition
of Raw this year, Punk was drafted from ECW to Raw. The following week, CM Punk pinned Edge to
win the World Heavyweight Championship. As his star continues to shine, it seems very clear that
CM Punk’s hard work and determination have surpassed any need for luck.
-
Wendel Clark – Hockey Legend
Wendel Clark was born in Kelvington, Saskatchewan. He was selected first overall in the 1985 NHL
entry draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs. Wendel made a seamless transistion to the big league, scoring
45 points in his rookie season to go along with 227 penalty minutes. The fans in Toronto were quick
to take a liking to Clark. He stood at 5'11" but wasn't afraid of taking on much bigger players
like Bob Probert, often coming out on top. Wendel played for several teams in his NHL career but
retired as one of the more popular players in Leafs history. Wendel is now employed by the team
as a community ambassador.
-
Natalya – WWE Diva
The daughter of former Superstar Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, Natalya realizes that competing in WWE
is a gift – one she plans on utilizing to its fullest extent. And being trained in the legendary
Hart family “Dungeon” alongside a few famous family members doesn’t hurt either. Natalya, however,
doesn’t want to be judged by the accolades of those before her. “The other Divas may say that I’m
cocky and arrogant, but I’m not. I am confident in my abilities. I’ve done my homework and am ready
to spread my wings. I’m proud of what my family has accomplished, but I’m the first Diva of the
Hart family to step in the squared circle and defend ‘The Dungeon’ and what my grandfather taught.
I dare any Diva to step one foot in the ring with me.”
-

fighting for PRIDE FC in Japan where he shared the ring with many of the world’s top fighters including
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fedor Emelianenko. His most notable wins are over Evan Tanner, Igor
Vovchanchyn, Mark Kerr, and Cheick Kongo. One of his most well known moments is knocking out Yoshihiro
Nakao during the pre-fight staredown when Nakao made the poor decision of kissing Herring on the
lips -

highlights include ending the six year reign of WWF Champion Bob Backlund and being the man Hulk
Hogan defeated for his first WWF Championship in one of the most famous matches of all time. Outside
of the WWE, The Sheik won a gold medal in the Pan American games held in Mexico City. The Sheik
has enjoyed a rebirth in celebrity thanks primarily to his antics on the Howard Stern show.

Inner City Surfers
Buckle up and get ready for the Inner City Surfers, one of Canada’s fastest rising young bands.
If Johnny Cash got into a head on collision with the Warped Tour these are the guys that would
walk out of the wreck. Musically gifted and morally bankrupt, they are living out every rock n
roll fan's dream by playing in a band with their best friends, traveling the country and partying
like it’s their job. When they come to town make sure to lock up your liquor, girlfriend, sister,
mother and any small pets. They are not to be trusted but damn they play some good music. Don’t
miss them at The Score Street Party.
-
