Report: Luis Suarez set to transfer to Barcelona
Liverpool are set to rid themselves of the talented, yet troubled Luis Suarez.
Sky Sports is reporting that talks between Barcelona and the Merseyside club have been productive with the Daily Mail noting a deal is expected to be completed within the next 48 hours.
While Suarez's goal scoring talent was unmatched last season - he led the EPL with 31 - it's his repetitive juvenile actions that make him a daunting task for clubs to have to deal with.
Liverpool are holding out for a reported £80 million transfer fee; Sky Sports cites that Barcelona are hoping they can bring him to Spain for £60 million.
With the addition Suarez, comes his four-month ban from all football-related activities due to his bite of Giorgio Chiellini during the World Cup, but those stipulations do not prevent him from transferring to a new club.
Since his transfer from Ajax to Liverpool in 2011, the 27-year-old has emerged as one of the world's top goal scorers, netting 82 goals in 133 appearances.
