Vegas expert says fan's $200K bet on Cubs is fake
Don't believe everything you read on the internet, kids.
After a betting slip emerged Tuesday that seemingly depicted one Chicago Cubs fan betting his life savings of $200,000 on his team winning the World Series, one gambling expert immediately shot down the story, stating the ticket wasn't authentic.
"MGM says it's willing to take a bet like that, but this ticket has been altered and is illegitimate," ESPN's David Payne Purdum said in a tweet.

While the Cubs are still pretty solid favorites to take it all this season, putting $200,000 on any club after only one month of baseball may not be the smartest move.
