Mike Trout has finally beaten Miguel Cabrera for a Most Valuable Player award.
On Tuesday night, Trout went 2-for-3 with a triple, a run scored and a pair of runs knocked in during the MLB All-Star Game, earning him the game's MVP award and a brand new Corvette.

Trout's performance was paramount in the American League topping the National League 5-3, and may have served an individual purpose, as his Los Angeles Angels would now have home field advantage if they were to make the World Series.
The 22-year-old slugger's performance also happened to come in a funky pair of cleats:
There was fairly strong competition for the MVP award this year, as Cabrera hit a two-run home run in the first inning, Jonathan Lucroy knocked in a pair for the NL and, of course, Derek Jeter went 2-for-2 with a run scored in his final All-Star appearance.
