Angels' Hamilton expects to play in ALDS opener

A recent spate of upper-body injuries won't keep Los Angeles Angels outfielder Josh Hamilton from taking the field for Game 1 of the American League Division Series on Thursday, reports Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register.

Hamilton completed a battery of baseball activities each of the last two days at Angel Stadium and is expected to do the same Wednesday, but proclaimed himself ready to go.
