Detroit Tigers outfielder Rajai Davis was visibly bothered by his sore groin during Thursday's 12-3 loss to the Baltimore Orioles in Game 1 of the ALDS, but the 33-year-old expects to be in the lineup for Game 2 Friday at Camden Yards.
Davis started in center field and went 1-for-3 on Thursday, battling groin discomfort "as the weather got cooler and the game went on," according to Chris Iott of MLive.com.
Davis, who suffered a Grade 1 groin strain during the final weekend of the season, was replaced by pinch-hitter Ezequiel Carrera in the ninth inning.
