VIDEO: Cubs' Fowler hits game-winning 2-run shot in Colorado return
Chicago Cubs leadoff hitter Dexter Fowler capped his Colorado homecoming with a sequence that dreams are made of.
Down to his final out and last strike with his team trailing 5-4 in the top of the ninth, Fowler connected on an 0-2 breaking ball from friend and former teammate LaTroy Hawkins to give his new Cubs the 6-5 edge and come-from-behind win Sunday.

Fowler, who joined the Cubs this winter, was traded to the Houston Astros in 2013 after spending his first six seasons in Colorado.
"First time coming back, it's surreal that I hit the game-winning homer here," Fowler told reporters. "LaTroy has a history of getting me out. I get 0-2 right there, and I'm sitting there like, 'Man, not again.' I stepped out and took a deep breath. Hats off to my teammates. They battled in that inning."
Fowler also had two triples in Saturday's 9-5 win to give the switch-hitting outfielder three extra-base hits and four RBIs over the three-game set at Coors Field.
