Time flies when your career is off to a Hall of Fame caliber start.
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout appeared in the 500th game of his major league career on Monday despite having yet to celebrate his 24th birthday.
"It's definitely gone quick," Trout told Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com. "You get so excited, and have so much fun doing it, time flies."
Since making his major league debut in 2011, Trout has made three All-Star appearances, picked up three Silver Slugger awards, was the 2012 American League Rookie of the Year and 2014 AL Most Valuable Player.
To truly appreciate how impressive Trout has been through his first 499 games, here's how he compares to Hall of Famer Willie Mays.
