Better late than never.
Arismendy Alcantara went over a week without picking up his first hit of the season, but corrected that in a big way Monday.
Alcantara hit a walk-off, bases-loaded single in the 10th inning to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 7-6 win over the Cincinnati Reds.

Manny Parra loaded the bases before Burke Badenhop was called on to clean up his mess. He retired two straight Cubs but was unable to bail the Reds out, as Alcantara busted an 0-for-16 start to the season with his first career walk-off hit.
