Mattingly: Dodgers' Crawford day-to-day with what 'sounds like' an oblique injury
Robert Hanashiro / USA TODAY Sports
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford departed Monday's game with what manager Don Mattingly is saying 'sounds like' an oblique injury. He's listed as day-to-day.
Crawford appeared to be in some discomfort after sliding safely into third base for a triple in the second inning. He came out to play the field for the top of the third inning but was pinch-hit for in the bottom half by Scott Van Slyke.
The oft-injured Crawford entered Monday's game hitting .229/.245/.354 with one home run and three RBIs in 14 games.
