Pirates' McCutchen on leaked pay stub: 'Our lives aren't private at all'
One man's trash is another man's treasure.
Andrew McCutchen is dealing with a distraction off the field after one of his pay stubs was made public Thursday.
The pay stub was posted on Reddit by a user claiming it was found by a friend touring the visitor's clubhouse at Wrigley Field where the Pittsburgh Pirates played a three-game set last weekend. The Reddit account has since been deleted, but images of McCutchen's private information are all over the Internet.

"We try to keep our lives as private as possible, but our lives aren't private at all," McCutchen told Stephen J. Nesbitt of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "It's no surprise - people know what I make."
The four-time All-Star will make $10 million this season, and he grossed $820,659.88 for the two-week pay period, but took home only $427,098.49 after taxes.
"No one knows who did it," McCutchen added. "It happens, I ain't too worried. It's no surprise what I make. It is a surprise, I'm sure for people to see all those taxes that get taken out. Yeah, I bet they didn't know anything about that."
McCutchen acknowledged it was quite possible he forgot the pay stub in the locker room, and the Chicago Cubs, who frequently offer tours to the public of the facilities at Wrigley Field, are investigating the matter.
