VIDEO: Astros spin 5-4-3 triple play, 1st since 2004
Jake Roth / USA TODAY Sports
The Houston Astros are playing exciting baseball right now, signified by their 27-16 record and first place spot atop the AL West.
But what's more exciting is what they're doing on the field to get so much respect.
Down 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning, Detroit Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler was in a prime position to give his team the lead. With runners on second and third, all he tried to do was knock in his team's second run of the game.
Instead, he triggered the ultimate rally-killer as the Astros turned their first triple play since 2004.
