Yasiel Puig hopes to return Saturday from hamstring injury

The Los Angeles Dodgers could have some additional firepower for a crucial series with the St. Louis Cardinals this weekend.
Outfielder Yasiel Puig expects to play as he continues to rehab a strained left hamstring, which has kept him out of the lineup since April 24.
"I feel good," Puig told MLB.com's George Alfano. "I want to be back by Saturday, but it's not my decision. We'll have to talk to the doctors."
Puig has already encountered a setback while out on a rehab assignment last month, and admitted the injury still isn't fully healed.
"I'm not 100 percent now, but it felt comfortable," added Puig.
The Cuban slugger was hitting .279 with two home runs and four RBIs in 43 at-bats for the Dodgers prior to the lengthy DL stint.
