Ervin Santana is back.
The Minnesota Twins activated the starter three months and a day after being slapped with an 80-game suspension for using performance-enhancing drugs. He's slated to start Sunday against the Kansas City Royals.
A former All-Star, Santana signed a four-year, $55-million deal with the Twins in December, but has yet to pitch for his new club after landing the suspension during spring training.
Last season, he went 14-10 with a 3.95 ERA with the Atlanta Braves.
