Pittsburgh Pirates general manager Neal Huntington made a splash Thursday by acquiring third baseman Aramis Ramirez from the Milwaukee Brewers, and he may not be done adding to his roster ahead of the trade deadline.
The Pirates are working on another trade to enhance their bullpen, FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports.
Rosenthal doesn't elaborate on potential targets, but there are plenty of names being mentioned in trade rumors, such as Jonathan Papelbon, Aroldis Chapman, Craig Kimbrel, Francisco Rodriguez, Tyler Clippard, Brad Ziegler, and Mike Dunn, to name a few.
Pittsburgh's bullpen already boasts a 2.50 ERA, which ranks third in the majors behind the Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals.
