New York Mets starter Noah Syndergaard finally threw a first pitch Kansas City Royals shortstop Alcides Escobar couldn't handle: a 98-mph fastball at the head.
The offering from Syndergaard didn't sit well with Royals third baseman Mike Moustakas, who was brought to life after the pitch.

"I wasn't the only guy upset, 25 guys in that dugout were pretty fired up," Moustakas said following the game.
By far the most aggressive hitter of the postseason, Escobar had swung at the first pitch 48.5 percent of the time entering Game 3, according to MLB.com.
Escobar struck out when he fouled a 99-mph fastball into the glove of Mets catcher Travis d'Arnaud.
