In the days since Adam LaRoche announced he planned to step away from baseball, we've heard reports of the White Sox front office telling LaRoche to keep his son away from the ballpark, Sale accusing VP Ken Williams of making "bald-faced" lies, and stories of teammates respecting - and even resenting - 14-year-old Drake LaRoche.

But despite a report that claims White Sox players and staff complained about Drake's presence in the clubhouse last season, LaRoche's ex-teammates have only praised his teenage son on the record.
