Purple and green dragons attend Yankees game

John Oliver's prank has already enticed unicorns, ninja turtles, and sharks to Opening Week at Yankee Stadium, and on Thursday, fans in the Bronx were joined by two more prehistoric - albeit colorful - monsters.

Oliver, a comedian and host of HBO's "Last Week Tonight," announced earlier this week that he was selling his premium seats behind home plate for 25 cents apiece to anyone who promised to dress like "riff-raff." He called the Yankees "elitist" in justifying the stunt, which has so far attracted contest winners dressed in green Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles outfits, as well as shark and unicorn costumes.
During Thursday's game against Houston, and in honor of the purple and green dragons in attendance, the Yankees' video board displayed: "Thanks, John Oliver. Everyone is welcome at Yankee Stadium."

Got to love it lol
