Rousey, Cerrone nominated for ESPYS

Already the most dominant force in mixed martial arts, the world destroyer known as Ronda Rousey has a chance to add to her already fully stocked trophy case when the ESPYS are handed out on July 15.

The UFC women's bantamweight champion is nominated in both the "Best Female Athlete" and "Best Fighter" categories. She received nods in both categories in 2014, leaving the Nokia Theatre with the "Best Female Athlete" award.

Rousey needed a mere 14 seconds to close out her only bout thus far in 2015, snatching a patented armbar against Cat Zingano at UFC 184 in February. Rowdy is scheduled to battle Bethe Correia at UFC 190 in August.

Rousey faces stiff competition for "Best Fighter" from fellow UFC combatant Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone. The lightweight division's foremost purveyor of carnage, Cerrone is already 3-0 in 2015, scoring victories over Myles Jury, Benson Henderson, and John Makdessi.
