Bellator signs former UFC title challenger Josh Koscheck

Bellator MMA added a former UFC title challenger to its roster on Friday, picking up welterweight Josh Koscheck off the Zuffa scrap heap.

Once one of the finest 170-pounders on the planet, Koscheck looked ghastly during his final run in the UFC, losing five in a row, including four stoppages. The former NCAA champion graced the Octagon twice in 2015, losing via submission to Jake Ellenberger and Erick Silva.

There may not be much tread left on Koscheck's tires, but he's a recognizable name, and a rematch with Paul Daley, who sucker punched Koscheck following their bout at UFC 113 in 2010, could lead to some delightful ultraviolence.

Koscheck posted the following message on his instagram page:

Started my career on#SpikeTV & I'm going to finish my career here!!! Thank you @ScottCoker for believing in me! Only thing I want to do next... is bitch slap Paul Daley one more time!! Remember the ass kickin I gave you?!! @bellatormma @spiketv @spike
