LeBron passes Duncan for 5th on all-time playoff scoring list

LeBron James continues to cement his legacy as one of the best playoff performers of all time.
With a made 3-pointer in the second quarter of Game 2 against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, the Cleveland Cavaliers star passed San Antonio Spurs center Tim Duncan for fifth on the NBA all-time playoff scoring list.

James entered the game needing 10 points to tie Duncan, and scored 13 points off 5-of-8 shooting in his first 14 minutes on the court to break into the top five.
The 31-year-old needed 184 games to reach 5,136 points, compared to 247 for Duncan. The duo are the only two active players who rank in the top nine.
James has reached the playoffs in all but two of his 13 NBA seasons.
