Cavs set playoff record for most 3s in a half
The Cleveland Cavaliers were on fire from beyond the arc during the first half of their Game 2 matchup with the Atlanta Hawks.
Cleveland set an NBA playoff record for most threes in a single half after LeBron James nailed a long bomb with more than seven minutes remaining in the second quarter. The Cavaliers were go on to add five more before the first-half buzzer sounded.

James (three), J.R. Smith (six), Kevin Love (three), Kyrie Irving (two), Richard Jefferson (two), Channing Frye, and Matthew Dellavedova contributed to set a new record of 18 threes in one half, as Cleveland jumped out to a commanding 74-38 lead at halftime.
