The Atlanta Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers are discussing a deal centered around Jeff Teague and Nerlens Noel, league sources told The Vertical's Shams Charania. The two sides have reportedly talked recently, but an agreement doesn't appear to be imminent.

Nik Stauskas and Robert Covington could also be moved in a potential deal, according to Philly.com's Keith Pompey.

Teague has one year remaining on his contract following this season, and has become expendable with the emergence of 22-year-old point guard Dennis Schroder. With starters Kent Bazemore and Al Horford set to become unrestricted free agents, the Hawks could be looking to rebuild if they're pessimistic about re-signing the duo.

With Jahlil Okafor serving as the team's starting power forward, and fellow big men Dario Saric and Joel Embiid expected to make their Sixers debuts next season, Philadelphia head coach Brett Brown would likely find it difficult to find Noel the minutes he deserves going forward.

Teague would fit in well with the 76ers, who have struggled to find an adequate starting point guard over the last couple seasons. In 79 games, he averaged 15.7 points and 5.9 assists, while shooting 43.9 percent from the floor and 40 percent from deep.

Noel averaged 11.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 1.5 blocks in his second NBA season.
