LeBron only 8th player to play in 6 straight NBA Finals
LeBron James' dominance of the NBA over the past decade was highlighted with another landmark on Friday. The Cleveland Cavaliers' 113-87 victory in Game 6 against the Toronto Raptors sends James to his sixth consecutive NBA Finals, making him the eighth player in league history to compete that many times in a row and the first in 50 years.
As a further testament to LeBron's accomplishments, all of the other seven players were members of the Boston Celtics dynasties of the 1950s and '60s - Bill Russell, Sam Jones, K.C. Jones, Satch Sanders, Tommy Heinsohn, Frank Ramsey, and Bob Cousy.
The last year James did not play in an NBA Finals was 2010 - which marked Kobe Bryant's last title with the Los Angeles Lakers.
LeBron played in another Finals in 2007, and sports a record of 2-4 so far - both titles coming with the Miami Heat.
