The New York Knicks and unrestricted free-agent guard Eric Gordon are discussing a possible deal, according to sources of The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Newly added Knick Derrick Rose has reached out to Gordon as an active part of the recruiting process, sources told the New York Post's Marc Berman.
Gordon has battled injury troubles his entire eight-year NBA career, and was limited to 45 games for the New Orleans Pelicans last season due to shoulder and finger injuries.
Gordon, 27, is close with Rose from their days playing AAU basketball together in Chicago. He has missed 223 of a possible 640 NBA games in his career, but has shot 38.3 percent from deep while averaging 16.6 points per contest.
