The Milwaukee Bucks want restricted free-agent point guard Matthew Dellavedova, and are willing to pay him big bucks (no pun intended) to lure him away from the reigning NBA champions.

The two parties are nearing agreement on a four-year, $38.4-million offer sheet, sources told NBA.com's David Aldridge.

Once the league's moratorium ends on July 7, the Cleveland Cavaliers will have three days to match the offer if they so choose. However, the Bucks don't expect their Central Division rivals to do so, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

There have also been talks about a sign-and-trade to send Dellavedova to the Brew City, but those discussions don't appear to be gaining any traction, Windhorst adds.

The 25-year-old Aussie has developed a less-than-sterling reputation in recent years, being voted the league's dirtiest player in an anonymous poll of NBA coaches, assistants, and players conducted in January.

Dellavedova has spent the past three seasons with the Cavaliers, averaging 5.7 points and 3.4 assists on 39.5 percent shooting.
