Kings' Isaiah Cousins: Sits Friday with groin strain

Cousins sat out Friday's summer league game against the Raptors with a right groin strain, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.

Analysis:

Cousins, who was selected with the second-to-last pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, will have to shake off the injury quickly if he hopes to bolster his case for a roster spot this season. The Kings will be back in action Saturday against the Rockets, and Cousins could be deemed ready to go by that point.
