Draymond didn't talk to Durant 'much' during playoffs
Draymond Green wants to make one thing clear: He and Kevin Durant texted regularly last season, but not during the postseason.
"During the playoffs, it's a little different," Green told DraftKings.com. "More is at stake, so we weren't talking much and that's normal. I heard something come out where they said Kevin Durant and Draymond were talking during the playoffs. They were lying. ... They're wrong."
That the two opponents, who squared off in the Western Conference finals, communicated at all reportedly rubbed Durant's Oklahoma City Thunder teammates the wrong way.

Green was unapologetic about that, saying: "I was told there were people from the Thunder who were mad that me and KD were talking. ... And if we were talking, we were, but I have no reason to come out and lie and say I wasn't talking to KD, because if I was, can't nobody do anything about it."

None of that matters now. The Thunder blew a 3-1 series lead to the Golden State Warriors, who then blew a 3-1 advantage of their own in the Finals to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Considering those events factored into Durant's decision to relocate to the Bay Area, Green can live with the results.
"I don't think our alternative was too bad. We lost a championship, we get Kevin Durant … hey," he said.
