Jennings would take Robert Horry's NBA career over Reggie Miller's

"Miller Time" isn't the correct time for point guard Brandon Jennings.

The 26-year-old has zero NBA championships to his name after seven seasons in the league, and it's highly doubtful he'll land his first with his new squad, the New York Knicks, in 2016-17.

Like most players - both past and present - Jennings places tremendous value on rings and what they mean for one's legacy, which is why he told his Twitter followers on Sunday he would take Robert Horry's playing career (seven titles) over that of Hall of Famer Reggie Miller (zero titles).

Now, Jennings isn't saying Horry was the better player, because the numbers certainly lean heavily in the favor of the Indiana Pacers legend.

Most Twitter users didn't understand that Jennings wasn't referring to Horry and Miller's personal statistics, which is why he had to constantly justify his decision to those who openly questioned and mocked his opinion.

Considering the Knicks are nowhere near the title picture, one follower just had to ask why Jennings would sign with a franchise in that kind of situation, considering how important he values winning.

Jennings signed a one-year contract worth $5 million this summer with New York after spending last season with both the Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons.
