Heat's Bosh doing basketball drills: 'Yes, I'm hooping'
Chris Bosh's NBA career remains in question due to concerns over his health, but he wants everyone to know he wants to - and still can - play.
The Miami Heat big man posted a series of Snapchat videos Monday in which he tossed his basketball equipment into his car and went to the gym to run drills.
"I know I've been gone for a moment, but now I'm back," Bosh said, as transcribed by Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel. "Everybody is always asking me am I hooping? Yes, I'm hooping. Absolutely. I'm a hooper."
He proceeded to execute dribbling as well as mid- and longe-range shooting drills.
The 6-foot-11 power forward hasn't suited up for a game since February. Blood clots sidelined him for the latter halves of the past two campaigns, as his need for blood thinners raises concerns about him playing such a physical sport.
While neither Bosh nor the Heat have confirmed his status for the upcoming season, the 32-year-old has three years remaining on his contract.

Bosh's wife, Adrienne, also shared part of the Snapchat story, writing that she looks forward to watching her husband play "this season."
In 53 games in 2015-16, CB4 averaged 19.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists for Miami, which finished third in the East and fell a win shy of advancing to the conference finals.
