Daryl Morey responds to Rockets fan who wants team to tank

Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey has never been shy about cracking a joke or interacting with fans on Twitter, and that trend continued Wednesday in his response to a Rockets fan hoping for a rebuilding year.

As Morey cheekily reminds us, it's a lot easier to plead for a tank when it's not your job on the line.

Remember, too, that Morey essentially rebuilt the Rockets into a title contender without ever plunging to the depths of the lottery, as Houston has never finished below .500 or lower than ninth in the Western Conference during his nine seasons at the helm.
