Isaiah Thomas unhappy with his SI ranking
DeMar DeRozan isn't the only one frustrated by his placement on Sports Illustrated's Top 100 Players list.
After learning he placed just 45th in the rankings, despite leading the Boston Celtics in a number of statistical categories last season, Isaiah Thomas took to Twitter on Friday to voice his displeasure.
Thomas is coming off a season in which he averaged 22.2 points, 6.2 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.1 steals - good enough for his first All-Star appearance. However, Thomas' postseason inefficiency hurt his spot in the 2016-17 rankings, according to SI's Ben Golliver.
This isn't the first time Thomas has laughed off SI's rankings, as the Celtics guard posted a similar tweet around this time last year.
Andre Iguodala (44), Nicolas Batum (43), and Serge Ibaka (42) finished just ahead of the 5-foot-9 point guard.
