Kerr: Jordan may have won more titles playing in social media era
After winning three titles with the Chicago Bulls in the mid-to-late 90s, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr knows Michael Jordan about as well as any other player from that decade.
And while he recognizes how impressive Jordan's career was, the Warriors' bench boss believes the G.O.A.T could've won more than six titles had he played during the social media era.
"There would have been so many more slights," Kerr told reporters Friday. "He might have won more titles."
It's no secret that Jordan used other's negativity to fuel him during his playing days, making it entirely possible that he would've been even more motivated if he had a slew of disparaging tweets to read on a regular basis.
The Charlotte Hornets' owner still doesn't own a Twitter account, but did test it out back in 2014.
