Whiteside complains about Gasol's flopping
The Miami Heat came away with an encouraging victory on Friday, but Hassan Whiteside wasn't satisfied.
Whiteside was dogged by the whistle all night and eventually fouled out in just 27 minutes of action. Fortunately his teammates were able to pick up for him, but after the game it was Whiteside's turn to stand up for himself.
"When you're Marc Gasol, I guess you can throw your head back and get a foul, and you can tweet that," Whiteside said as dutifully tweeted by Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel.
Whiteside endured through a frustrating first half, then took out his frustration in the third quarter by picking up three fouls on Gasol within the opening three minutes of the second half which forced him to the bench.
The Heat would eventually pull away, and Whiteside was hardly heard from thereafter.
