Anthony Davis had one of his worst offensive games of the season Sunday night, but he made up for his 4-of-17 shooting night with a huge defensive play at the end of overtime, preserving a 120-119 win for the New Orleans Pelicans.
Trailing by three with seven seconds to play, the Phoenix Suns ran a clever inbound play, having Devin Booker set a cross-screen for Leandro Barbosa before popping off a pin-down from Tyson Chandler for a straightaway look to tie.
The Pelicans snuffed it out, though, as the upshot of having Davis switched onto Booker proved fatal for the Suns. Davis got one of his tentacles up in time to get a fingertip on the ball.
The win snapped the Pelicans' five-game losing streak.
