Watch: T.J. McConnell drops career-high 17 dimes vs. Celtics
Bob DeChiara / USA TODAY Sports
T.J. McConnell was in a giving mood Friday night, and his teammates - loathe to look a gift horse in the mouth - made the very most of his beneficence.
McConnell drove and kicked and lobbed and flipped, and the rest of the 76ers converted his feeds into buckets, time after time. The result: McConnell ended up with 17 assists, four more than his previous career high.
Alas, it wasn't quite enough, as the Celtics prevailed 110-106.
