Much has been said about DeMarcus Cousins' future with the Sacramento Kings.
The All-Star big man, whose contract expires after next season, has been a staple in trade rumors as a result of the team's general ineptitude highlighted by its failure to contend despite boasting one of the top centers in the game.
For his part, Boogie has publicly maintained his desire to remain with the franchise that drafted him, going so far as to say he plans to sign a max extension with Sacramento this summer and eventually retire as a King.
Following Tuesday's 100-94 win over the Detroit Pistons, Cousins was asked yet again if he wants to be in Sacramento.
"Yeah, I love Sacramento. It's where I wanna be," he replied, before grabbing one of the mics pointed in his face and flipping the script on the scribes.
"Y'all want me to be here?" he asked. The responses varied from "no comment" and "I would say 'no.'"
"OK, OK. Well, guess what? Guess what, people? I'm here," Boogie said, chuckling.
