Apparently, D'Angelo Russell isn't a fan of bats.
Ahead of his matchup with the San Antonio Spurs, the Los Angeles Lakers point guard worked out with teammate Julius Randle on Wednesday at AT&T Center, where they had some unexpected guests. Bat guests.
"Came in here trying to get some little work in, we got bats on the floor," Russell said in a video he posted on Instagram. "See my main man's (Randle) getting his work in, and we got bats on the floor. See the bats?"
This isn't the first time we've seen bats at San Antonio's facility. Manu Ginobili swatted one away during a game against the Sacramento Kings in 2009, promptly getting it off the court. Russell alluded to that incident in another Instagram story on Wednesday.
"Yo, where's Ginobili when you need him? Man, we got bats. Oh my God," the 20-year-old said.
Asked if the winged creatures are dangerous, DLo replied: "Man I don't know, they vampires to me. They eat people."
