Knicks' Twitter timing exacerbating tough losses
It's January in Gotham, which generally means the New York Knicks are struggling. On Monday, they lost by 14 points to a subpar New Orleans Pelicans squad with point guard Derrick Rose AWOL. On Wednesday, it was perhaps an even tougher defeat, a last-second loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Through this trying period, the Knicks' social media department has been busy with the delete button. In the second quarter of Wednesday's loss, it tweeted a photo of Rose talking to Carmelo Anthony with the unfortunate caption "Communication is key."

You know, the opposite of flying to Chicago and failing to notify your high-profile employer. Corrections were made forthwith.

This came a day after a rather comically-timed promotion with Amtrak on the Knicks' Twitter feed (it was also deleted).
