Vince Carter becomes 5th player to hit 2,000 career 3-pointers
Wednesday in the Mile High City against the Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies veteran Vince Carter hit a 3-point-shooting milestone that only four other NBA players have reached.
With his second make from behind the arc with 2:35 remaining in the opening half, Carter became the fifth player to knock down 2,000 career 3-pointers.

The 19-year pro - who turned 40 years old Jan. 26 - will soon have more company in the 2,000 3-pointers club, as Jamal Crawford of the Los Angeles Clippers and Kyle Korver of the Cleveland Cavaliers aren't far off.
Entering Wednesday, Carter was averaging eight points and 3.2 rebounds in 24.2 minutes as a reserve, while shooting 34.9 percent from deep with 1.4 makes per game.
