Watch: Nets' Booker misses potential game-winning volleyball shot
Sam Sharpe / USA TODAY Sports
Luck didn't strike Trevor Booker twice.
Tied at 100 with .2 remaining, the Brooklyn Nets had a chance to end Wednesday's contest versus the Washington Wizards in regulation. Bojan Bogdanovic inbounded to Booker, who flipped it up and got nothin' but backboard.
The 29-year-old power forward previously made a similar shot with .2 on the clock, tapping it over his head and into the rim against the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2015 as a member of the Utah Jazz.
But it wasn't meant to be this time around. The Wizards went on to prevail in their second straight overtime game, 114-110.
