Teams scuffle after Suns' Booker, Grizzlies' Daniels exchange words
Bleacher Report/Twitter
Things got scrappy late at the Grind House.
Devin Booker and Troy Daniels appeared to exchange some words near the end of Wednesday's game after the Phoenix Suns shooting guard fouled his Memphis Grizzlies counterpart on a 3-pointer.
That prompted teammates from both sides to get involved in some jawing and shoving at midcourt, while other players, referees, and coaches intervened in an effort to control the situation.
Technical fouls were assessed to Daniels and JaMychal Green on the home team, and to Booker, Tyler Ulis, Alan Williams, and Marquese Chriss for the visitors. Chriss, Ulis, and Daniels were ejected. Alex Len also came off the bench for the skirmish, which should earn him a suspension.
The Grizz prevailed 110-91.
