Report: MJ, Silver may intervene to end Dolan-Oakley feud

The NBA could send in the big guns to help mend James Dolan's relationship with Charles Oakley.

The league could enlist Michael Jordan and commissioner Adam Silver to help mediate a reconciliation in a conference call on Monday or Tuesday, a source told Frank Isola of the New York Daily News.

It was reported earlier Monday that Dolan and Oakley have built "some momentum toward a resolution," with people from both camps hoping to end the dispute.

Oak was banned from MSG last week after he was ejected from Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers and subsequently arrested. The ban remains in effect indefinitely, but Dolan said Friday it'll be lifted once the retired player gets control of his "personality problems."

The team owner suggested Oakley is an alcoholic, which the Knicks legend denied.

Jordan, who owns the Charlotte Hornets, is friends with Oakley, having played together on the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards.
