Durant out indefinitely with Grade 2 MCL sprain, tibial bone bruise
All in all, it's not the worst case scenario for the Golden State Warriors.
The team announced Wednesday that Kevin Durant suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain and tibial bone bruise. He will be re-evaluated in four weeks but there is no timetable of his return.

Durant suffered the injury in Tuesday's loss to the Washington Wizards. His knee buckled when Zaza Pachulia fell backwards while battling for a rebound.
Given the dire possibilities that could stem from a knee injury, Durant and the Warriors can be considered fortunate in this regard. He hasn't been ruled out for the season and sprains may not necessitate surgery.
There is a chance Durant could return for mid-April, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
Stephen Curry suffered a sprained MCL in last year's playoffs and missed two weeks. He wasn't 100 percent the rest of the way, but Curry did manage to light up the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals before flaming out in the final round.
