Cupcake on crutches shows up to OKC, Warriors game

The cupcake is back in Oklahoma City on Monday night, coinciding with the return - or partial return, at least - of ex-Thunder star Kevin Durant. This time, the cupcake accessorized with a crutch.

Durant hasn't traveled with the team since he started rehabbing his knee injury on March 1. He did participate in shootaround on Saturday.

Thunder fans initially welcomed back Durant in February for the first time since his departure for the Golden State Warriors with cupcake fanfare.

According to Thunder folklore, the players used to refer to one another as "cupcake" when and if they were "acting a little soft."
