The San Antonio Spurs not only made the Oklahoma City Thunder's 21-point lead a thing of the past by clawing their way back into Friday night's contest, they also preserved a late lead with clutch plays from their two best players.
A layup attempt by Russell Westbrook was stuffed at the rim by Spurs big man LaMarcus Aldridge, leading to an and-1 bucket by All-Star forward Kawhi Leonard on the other end to lock up the Spurs' eventual 100-95 victory at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
The block was Aldridge's third of the game, while Leonard finished with a team-high 28 points in 38 minutes as the Spurs improved to 58-17.
